Describes walks, cycling trips and canoeing trips made when we were able to escape during the Covid-19 pandemic of 2020/21. The first trip to South Australia includes kayaking on the Murray and its anabranches at Chowilla, plus day walks in the Southern Flinders Ranges, Eyre Peninsula coastline and Arkaroola in the arid north. Some months later we were able to head north for more walking and canoeing in far north Queensland (Lawn Hill) and the Northern Territory (around Nitmiluk, including the Jatbula Track), and in the Red Centre. This was finished by going back to South Australia for a flight over Lake Eyre and some walking and cycling in the southern Fleurieu Peninsula.
