1 July 2005 - Guestbook re-activated after hacker prevention maintenance

15 May 2005 - After an interminable and inexcusable delay Part 40 uploaded back home in Canberra. As you may have seen I have had to disable the guestbook for the moment due to persistent hacking attacks.

31 March 2005 - Part 36 uploaded in Wanganui, back on the North Island, after a pleasant 2 days at Lochmara Lodge in the Marlborough Sounds and wild Cook Strait crossing

27 March 2005 - Part 35 uploaded in wet and stormy Kaikoura - the guestbook seems to be under constant hacker attack (maybe this is a back-handed compliment for the site) and when I delete their pastings, the last message also goes. My apologies to those people - I plan to find a more permanent solution when I get back to Oz, but for the moment can only apply band-aid fixes.

30 September 2004 - First serious walk uploaded in Napier. I have experimented by including a second part to each walk containing a 2D and 3D map showing our GPS mapped track (it is still a bit basic).

26 September 2004 - First part uploaded. It had not been easy finding places to upload from my notebook. Most internet cafes do not have the facilities to connect your own computer, but thanks to the friendly and helpful owner of Guncom computers in Otorohanga, I was able to sign on with a local ISP and become independent of IT cafes.

18 September 2004 - Start of the trip
